Under the leadership of Pastor Abram Edwards, Mt. Hermon continues that legacy—grounded in the timeless message of the Bible while looking forward to what God is doing today.

Our Mission
At Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, our mission is the Great Commission:
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19–20)
We are a Bible-believing, family-oriented church located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, committed to teaching God’s Word, serving our community, and growing together in faith and love.

Abram Edwards - Lead Pastor
Pastor Abram Edwards
Brother Abram Edwards has dedicated his life to serving the community and spreading the Gospel message. He is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministry from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College and has a deep understanding of scripture and a passion for preaching and teaching.
Having served in various ministry roles over the years Brother Abram has developed a unique approach that emphasizes personal connection and the importance of community. He believes every person has a purpose, and he is committed to helping individuals discover their God-given potential.
Whether through counseling, pastoral care, or engaging with the congregation in various activities, Brother Abram strives to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. Outside of ministry, he enjoys movies, books, and golf.
He is happily married to Shannon and is the proud father of three daughters. Together, they cherish family values and the importance of faith-based living.
With a heart for service and a commitment to God's calling, Brother Abram continues to inspire and uplift those around him, working tirelessly to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and the broader community. He encourages the congregation to prioritize their relationship with Christ, reminding them that true fulfillment and purpose are found when faith is placed above all other pursuits. Guided by the principle of "Christ Above All,” Brother Abram centers his ministry and teachings on the supremacy of Jesus Christ in every aspect of his life.
